Combination Skin

Difference between skin type and skin condition:

  • SKIN TYPE  is genetic / inherited / what you are born with.
  • SKIN CONDITION is influenced by external factors (UV exposure, harsh chemical contact with skin, climate) and internal factors (hormones, medications)

Combination skin is a skin type:

  • Dryness on cheeks and oily in T-zone. 
  • Skin can be dry-combination OR oily-combination.
  • Skin can breakout easily. 
  • Skin can become irritated and sensitive on cheeks. 

Breakouts, sensitization and dehydration are skin conditions.
